Join us as we continue to grow the newest tutoring center in Northern Kentucky. Mind Over Matter Kids was started by Dr. Kayla Steltenkamp as she noticed a need for various supports throughout the area. Recently, more and more families struggle to find the right place to go for additional instruction outside of the school day. After much thought, research, and consideration Dr. Steltenkamp decided it was time to open the option for tutoring.

Ms. Susan Black was the first tutor to join in the mission and remains the backbone of Mind Over Matter. When you call, email, text or visit you will likely work with Ms. Black. She, along with many other wonderful tutors, have the passion (and skills) to help your child find the greatness within themselves!

Tutoring is available throughout the day in a 1:1 or small group setting both online and in person.

Tutoring can address a variety of learning needs from reading, writing, math, study skills, and more!

We have a variety of Orton Gillingham based programs for students who may benefit from systematic literacy instruction.

 Tutors are trained and monitored regularly to ensure they are using best practices and systematic approaches for instruction.

Most tutoring sessions are 55 minutes. The cost is $45 a session pre-paid monthly.
