Areas of assessment:

Gifted & Talented      |      LEarning Disabilities        |       ADHD Charicteristics

We are assessing on a very limited basis due to our busy schedules.

We plan to open our schedule back up in summer ‘24.

Types of Assessment:

A screening is a brief assessment looking specifically at reading.  Using instruments such as the TOD, CTOPP, TOWRE, TOWL and others, a report will be given to indicate current academic abilities and possible areas of deficit.  While this is not an official diagnosis of reading difficulties, it can indicate the characteristics that support difficulties such as dyslexia. (Cost is typically around $250)

A basic assessment can look at academic factors such as reading, writing, and/or math.  Through the use of the Woodcock-Johnson IV and other supplemental assessments, data will be collected to describe the strengths and areas for growth of your student. (Cost is typically around $500)

A comprehensive evaluation will provide a full assessment of all academic abilities and, if interested, a screening to include other factors that may contribute to your child’s abilities, such as working memory, attention, and more.  With the use of several testing instruments, it will be possible to get an in-depth analysis of the patterns of strengths and weaknesses within your student and develop recommendations that will assist with getting the support needed to excel. (Cost is typically around $1,000)
